darkening my feelings

Hi cutiepies!
hope you're doing great ∩__∩ welcome to a new entry! probably is too soon haha but here I am anyway..

these have been busy days, I just can't find some free time u__u work is killing me.. it sucks to be an adult haha but someone has to pay for the things I wanna buy, right?

aaaanyway, this time I come with a short entry (or it seems to be..), I'm just gonna talk about a manga and an anime that finished yesterday.. hope it won't take me too much time!

with nothing else to say, let's start with this ∩__∩'

today I went to get the newest volume (published here in Mexico) of my beloved Black Butler! but this time is special: I waited for its release to read it 'cause I forgot to do it before, so I thought it wouldn't be so bad to wait for it..

Black Butler Vol. XV by Yana Toboso
in this volume we fully enter to the new arc; this time the story takes place in the prestigious Weston College, an all boys school; Ciel has to investigate the mysterious case of Derrick, a memeber of the Queen's family, so he, and his loyal butler Sebastian, infiltrate in the school as an student and a teacher

this time we see a different side of our protagonist 'cause he is sorrounded by boys of his same age, it's really interesting to see the way he acts in this strange ambient 'cause, even if eveybody knows he is an earl, no one is there to follow his orders or to even listen to him

we also see how he wants and needs to gain the trust of the most important people in the school: the four prefects that rule the place

what I like about this arc is that it reminds me to Hogwarts haha you see, there are four dormitories, each one of a different colour, each one regards one 'ability', and aslo each one has a representative animal! too cool to be real haha

as always I liked a lot the characters, but it was a shame that we don't have a lot of lors/butler interactions this time, but it's not really important after all

this volume was interesting and entertaining, of course, is just the begining of the whole mystery so we don't really have much info to know what's really going on, nevertheless, even if it's just some kind of 'introduction' to the school and the system it manages, I enjoyed it a lot!

in case you want to read the complete review, in spanish and with spoilers, click here please n__n

now I can't wait for the next volume!

if you want to read the complete review, with spoilers and in spanish, click here please ∩__∩

now, here's the back of the volume.. we have the synopsis and an image that includes Sebastian, Ciel, Redmond (prefect of the red dormitory) and his 'servant' Maurice

inside we have the coloured page that includes Sebastian, Ciel, Clayton Bluewer and with a touch of sapphire blue (according to their dormitory) and Redmond and Maurice with a touch of ruby red
finally we have Sebastian as the Black Jokey

and last, but not least, here's an small glimpse of the art ∩__∩'
as always I had to take a pic of the always good-looking Sebby *-*

and now let's proceed to the anime that finished yesterday..

ツルネ ―風舞高校弓道部―
(Tsurune: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudoubu)
Tsurune

- 2 0 1 8 -
Season: 01          Episodes: 13 (+1 Special)
Genre: Sports, School, Drama
(Rating: PG-13)
Source: Light Novel

well, I have to say that at first I wasn't so sure about watching this anime, but soon enough it really caught my eye 'cause it's from KyoAni, and since I love Free! I said 'why not?'

this is an sport anime, but it's a singular one: kyūdō
for those who don't know, this is a japanese martial art of archery

the story follows Minato, a  young boy who used to practise kyūdō but he left it after he developed target panic.. in the present, Seiya, his best friend, tries tomake him join their school's kyūdō club, he refuses until he meets an archer who inspires him to go back to the sport

first of all, they explain us what 'tsurune' is, in this story they use this word to refer to the sound the bow (yumi) makes when the arrow is shot; and, essencially, is the sound that left a mark in Minato when he was a child and made him want to learn and practise kyūdō

through the epsiodes we can see Minato's fear and determination to find, once again, the sound he heard years ago.. also we can see how he tries to create a bound with the other members of the club (Seiya, Ryohei, Nanao and Kaito)

soon, the man that inspired him, Masaki, joins the club and we can see how their bond grows with every episode; but not eveything revolves around Minato, also we have a glimpse to Seiya and Masaki's fears

one thing I liked about this anime was how pretty the animation was.. all the scenery was stunning! and the colours.. mygods too gorgeous *-*

I found the characters nice, I specially loved Masaki and Seiya.. I think those two were the best, I fell in love with both haha

one thing I don't like about KyoAni is that most of the time all they give us is BL bait, they try to hint that there's a couple but they never make it official (like MakoHaru, which is canon even if they try so hard to hide it haha); is just a tease and nothing more, which, in my opinion, sucks

[01x13] かけがえのない  /  "Irreplaceable"

this episode focuses in the kyūdō tournament the club participates in, after all the strugle they faced, finally they have the opportunity to really become a group and now they go against Shu's school

this episode was a rollercoaster of emotions, but more importantly, the aestethic was just perfect, all the colours they used, the monolohue inside Minato's head and how he comes to the conclusion he was looking for all the time

we also have an emotive moment seeing the ever growing bond between Minato and Masaki and at the end we see how they met years ago..

it was a tanquil episode, full of emotions and beutiful-looking, plus the final scene got my eyes teary.. 'cause, after all, they were bonded by fate.. and you know what? I'm in love with the idea of pre-destinated lover.. in each story that thing kills me everytime *-*

spoilers

well, when Minato was a kid, he fell in love with kyūdō 'cause he saw an archer and heard a beautiful sound which his mother explained was called tsurune, so he wanted to practise this sport

once he found Shuu with his sensei (one of the best archers who met Masaki's grandfather) and asked her to teach him, after she realized how much he wanted to learn, she agreed.. but Minato kept this secret from his mother so one day he would surprise her

Seiya, who was Minato's bestfriend along with Shuu, was talking with him about kyūdō, and Minato said he wanted to practise it with him too.. that's when he and his mother had an accident, sadly his mother passed away

Minato developed panic target after an incident in a tournament he had when he was in the same school as Seiya and Shuu, he failed all his shots and decided to quit the sport and then moved school and Seiya followed him leaving kyūdō too

at Kazemai (their new school), they met Ryohei, who casually met them and invited them to joins the kyūdō club 'cause he knew they were archers.. at first Minato was reticent, but one day he saw a mysterious man shooting arrow after arrow, and then he got inspired

the mysterious man, Masaki, had the intention to shot 10,000 arrows so he could achieve his goal, but he didn't know if he was going to leave kyūdō or not after that.. after talking with Minato for a few days, he let him shot his last arrow

Minato joined the club, then Masaki joined it too as the coach, and suddenly they decided to enter a tournament, but they were going to enter as a team of 5 (Minato, Seiya, Ryohei, Nanao and Kaito), at first they didn't get along well, but suddenly their relationship evolved

in the tournament they met Shuu and he talked a bit with Seiya, saying he always was after Minato and questioned him about liking or not kyūdō.. after that the poor baby boy Seiya was suffering and started to think that Minato's accident was his fault 'cause he called him when they were crossing the street.. so he was thinking about leaving kyūdō

when Masaki confronts Seiya, he ask him if he likes kyūdō, then Seiya says he hates him! Minato appears soon after that and tries to talk with his friend but he just ignores him

Minato talks with Seiya, and tells him he's there for him as his best friend was there for him when he left kyūdō, then he decided he's gonna wait for him until he wants to go back with the team..

the real reason why Seiya was like that, was because he felt jelaous of Masaki, 'cause he was able to bring Minato back to the sport while he, as much as he tried, wasn't able to help him, also he felt guilty of the accident Minato had years ago; at the end Seiya and Masaki are in good terms

Masaki wanted to be in peace with his granfather who passed away some time ago, he even started to dislike kyūdō thanks to him.. Minato and the team, convince them to meet with another archer who knew his grandfather, but when he was heading back he had a car accident

at the tournament they get to go to the finals, against Shuu school! Minato decides to start calling everyone by their names 'cause he feels that's how a team should be, they have to trust in eachother; at the end, one of the member of the rival school starts to fail in his shots (which led us to think probably he was starting to suffer panic target..)

at the end, Minato realizes the reason why Masaki wanted them to be a team: they can trust in eachother, if one of them fails, then he won't and if he fails then the others won't..

we see Shuu is not fully focused in the targets, instead he's only watching Minato.. Shuu fails his last shot while Minato's arrow hits the center of the target.. and yes, we hear the tsurune when every Kazemai member hits the target in the final round

then we see Masaki and Minato, at night, and Msaki ask him to return his last shot (the one Minato shoot when they met)

at the end we see the first secene of the anime: Minato is a young boy, he's with his mother watching a kyūdō archer and hearing the tsurune, but right beside him is a younger Masaki and also he hears that sound and also he falls for kyūdō once again.. now I wonder, could the archer be Masaki's grandfather?

so yeah, they were connected, fated perhaps, right? *-* let me dream!

this anime was so beautiful, so heart-warming that made me fall in love with it.. I cried a few times while watching it.. even if it had some plot holes or left some unaswered questions, or even if they moved too fast sometimes, it was just too pretty!

overall I liked it a lot, everytime I watched it it made me feel at peace.. I doubt it'll have a second season, so I don't think about that too much :P now there's only about time for the special episode to come out in a few months!

about the opening ("Naru" by Luck Life), it was catchy, and the images sequence and colours were too pretty, probably not my fav of the season, but it wasn't bad ∩__∩'

and the ending ("Orange Iro (オレンジ色)" by ChouCho), it wasn't bad and it had a beautiful sequence and made me think a lot about Masaki and Minato relationship haha why KyoAni can't make an anime were they make a ship canon no mattering their genders?

well, I think that's all for now u__u this was larger than I first thought it'd be.. finally I finished it! it took more time than I imagined

anyway, since I'm tired and don't have anything else to say, that's all for now, hope you had fun with today's entry ∩__∩'
as always, thank you so much for reading/passing by!

⋆:・゚✧bye bye
